Biography
 Michael Minner earned the prestigious "Master of Photography" degree from the Professional Photographers of America, Inc. in 1993. His assignments have ranged from Baltimore to Bermuda, Stamford, CT to San Antonio, and from Washington, D.C. to Washington State.
In addition to providing portrait services, by appointment, at the convenience of his clients Minner also serves as a speaker and teacher of photography. He is considered an expert in the field of composition theory, and his programs on that topic, as well as ones on color harmony, portrait lighting, and print presentation are in demand both regionally and nationally.
Within 2 years of joining the Maryland Professional Photographers Association in 1983 Michael Minner was named "Photographer of the Year", and has since won that honor 3 additional times.  During the years of competition with his peers he won an unprecedented 7 consecutive "Best in Show" awards for his portraits and, consequently, is sought out by other professionals for advice on preparing prints for competition.
Known primarily for his environmental family portraits, studio glamour photography, and high key children's imagery, Michael Minner serves his clients from his Eastern Shore of Maryland studio. He is available for both portrait and commercial assignments, year-round, by appointment.
